The piece itself is just layers of joy and sadness and loneliness and torture and struggle. So I think that is very clearly reflected in how I felt playing, physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. My experience here was fantastic. I love the intimacy of this space. Halfway through the performance, it started raining on these gorgeous wooden roofs, and having watched a lot of experimental performances and also know opera. I felt really present.
