“When LEIMAY accepted my group into its studio share program nearly three years ago, Terra Incognita Theater found more than a space to rehearse; we also found an artistic home, a community of artists with whom we can share and from whom we can learn. The commitment to art from CAVE’s founders, their personalities and their work gathers artists with similar values and true quality. Personally, I find it extremely important, supportive and encouraging. I try never to miss the performances and works-in-progress they organize because they are of the highest quality, and I always learn from them. It is also very good for my work that periodically we share our work-in-progress with other artists who share the space. Their feedback is very helpful. There is a high level of mutual respect and discipline among all members, and Ximena and Shige are always generous and kind when we need some help. I hope that my group can continue working there in this most special atmosphere of love for our work and each other.”
