“I recently completed a 3-day LUDUS Winter Workshop at LEIMAY that was centered around the exploration of Hijikata’s Butoh-Fu. It was my first time at CAVE and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Ximena + Andrea were excellent teachers, very knowledgeable and regardless of our previous experience, made all of us feel very welcome. As someone who doesn’t have a strong movement background, they were very encouraging and reminded us it’s not about perfection, simply participation and most of all to have fun and stay curious. I look forward to attending their drop-in classes on Wednesday in the future and keeping an eye out for the ensemble’s performances.”
