As part of the 2026 Threading Residency, and At Home Constellation, sweat variant and LEIMAY are proud to host London-based artist SERAFINE1369 for a month-long residency at CAVE in Brooklyn.
During their time at CAVE, SERAFINE1369 will process through dancing and writing, working with what they call Oracular Practice—a method for tuning into the subtle calls of a relational body and taking notes on its energetic mechanics. The residency offers the artist an opportunity to inhabit a new environment, gain perspective on the work they have been developing over the last few years, and move through a transition in their practice.

SERAFINE1369 is a London-born and based artist, dancer, and body-focused researcher. They approach dance as a philosophical undertaking, a political project with ethical and psycho-spiritual ramifications for being in the world. Their practice is concerned with the integrity and efficacy of structures—both bodily and social—and prioritizes listening, collaboration, and the specificities of context.
