EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM 2015: LUDUS
This class, PRESENT BODY is for dancers, actors, theater artists both experienced and beginners. Through games and simple tasks participants will enhance their presence on stage and simultaneously become aware of the overall image on stage that they create together as a group. How to be free from the past and future? How to handle what was set in rehearsal and yet stay open to what is happening in the given moment? How to be aware of what one is doing as an individual and as part of a group? The objectives of the session are to develop conscious presence while improvising in performance; to amplify live time in the performance space; to enhance skills connecting technique to composition, composition to improvisation; and to introduce individual artists to the conditions of ensemble improvisation.
