The LEIMAY Constellation Series is a new partnership-based presenting platform hosted at LEIMAY in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Each program in the series is produced and curated by a presenting partner, while LEIMAY co-presents by offering space, visibility, and organizational support.

This structure allows partners to lead the artistic direction of their own program while benefiting from LEIMAY’s resources and community. The series amplifies the voices of a new generation of artists and cultural workers, while committing to sustainable practices rooted in circular economy principles and resource-sharing.

Each year, the Constellation Series includes only three partnerships. This small scale ensures that every program receives careful attention and fosters meaningful connections among partners, artists, and audiences. While each presentation stands on its own, together they form a constellation—distinct initiatives linked through collaboration and shared purpose.

Second Partnership: Spider’s Thread

Our second partnership is with the artist Yusuke Mori, who will co-present and produce two days of performance under the name Spider’s Thread. These performances will be on November 8 & 9, 2025 at CAVE with two shows on Saturday 8th and one on Sunday 9th.

Spider’s Thread is a performance, led by dancers Yusuke Mori and Alaisha Sharma, based on Ryunosuke Akutagawa’s well-known short story. A simple tale based on Buddhist teachings, in which a convict is given a slim passageway from eternal damnation. In this dance-theater piece, the story unfolds through an interwoven tapestry of narration, movement and music.

Proceeds will go directly to the presenting artists.
