Julia Kulakova is a performing and teaching artist, choreographer, and artistic director of Bahar Dance Ensemble and NY Persian Parade. Her varied dance and martial arts expertise, and improvisational skills led to collaborations with such bands as the NY Gypsy All Stars, Romashka, Frank London’s Klezmer Orchestra, and Mehrnam Rastegari’s Chogan, among others.
