NEW YORK BUTOH KAN TRAINING INITIATIVE: INTRODUCTORY

Based on Hijikata’s butoh method, the moment of occurrence consists of form and movement. Through exchange between inside and outside world we create beauty by random connection of images. Through both intro and intensive sessions, students will explore different body conditions like heaviness and lightness, condensation and expansion, transfiguration, in relation between space and time that is made by body’s condition.
