LEIMAY PRESENTING SERIES 2010: FERMENT

Lately I have been dreaming in French, a language I do not speak nor understand, and have woken in the middle of the night to my own voice whispering ìLíAmourirîó which is an untranslatable French play of words on Love and Death.

Steven Carlino supports his creative habit by working on the production side of the performing arts. Carlinoís own butoh-inspired performances have been a part of the International Festival of Experimental Intermedia Art in Minneapolis, The Catch series in NYC/Brooklyn, and sometimes in the middle of the night on some unknown street when he cannot sleep. He currently performs with the Lounge Punk band Swampcocks.
