The LEIMAY Constellation Series is a new partnership-based presenting platform hosted at LEIMAY in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Each program in the series is produced and curated by a presenting partner, while LEIMAY co-presents by offering space, visibility, and organizational support.

This structure allows partners to lead the artistic direction of their own program while benefiting from LEIMAY’s resources and community. The series amplifies the voices of a new generation of artists and cultural workers, while committing to sustainable practices rooted in circular economy principles and resource-sharing.

Each year, the Constellation Series includes only three partnerships. This small scale ensures that every program receives careful attention and fosters meaningful connections among partners, artists, and audiences. While each presentation stands on its own, together they form a constellation—distinct initiatives linked through collaboration and shared purpose.

First Partnership: Pollen

Our first partnership is with filmmaker and archivist Benja Thompson, who will co-present and produce three nights of film, music, and dance under the name Pollen. The series begins on November 2, 2025 at CAVE with an evening of video screenings featuring three curated programs.

Pollen transmits video spells submitted by artists from around the world, organized into three distinct screenings:

  • Program 1: Liquid Poetry
     Celebrates the elemental medium as a material for sublimation and canvas for personal histories to emerge.
  • Program 2: Need For Teeth
     Chomps at the noise of in/organic bodies, bloodying our relationship to craft as an extension of self.
  • Program 3: Summonance
     Showcases the dancefilm practice as a portal into mythic realms, channeling spirit through interior truths.

This first Pollen screening on November 2 launches the partnership. Proceeds will go directly to the presenting artists and form the foundation for future Pollen events, which will grow to include live performance and music.

Pollen is produced and curated by Benja Thompson as part of the LEIMAY Constellation Series, co-presented with LEIMAY at CAVE, Williamsburg, Brooklyn, within WEAVE.
